SPARSH – System for Pension Administration (RAKSHA): The Ministry of Defense has implemented a new system to provide better facilities to pensioners through the Sparsh program. This is an important initiative of the Central Government. Through this, there is a program to make pensioners participate in the pension process and give all the information. It was clarified that Sparsh Raksha is a secure and reliable digital portal for all activities related to pensions. The Defense Ministry said that under Sparsh Pension, there is a web-based system for crediting pensions directly into the bank accounts of Defense pensioners without any external intermediary.
Under the Sparsh portal, 17 lakh 10 thousand 324 pensioners who have now migrated across the country will get direct pensions from PCDA Allahabad in their bank accounts. Every pensioner will also get a user ID and password through a mobile message through the Sparsh portal. The pensioner will have to provide a pension payment order, PAN card, copy of Aadhar card, and life certificate online once a year. Now pensioners will not have to go to the DPDO office to give life certificate.
The pensioners can get the complete details and updates about the SPARSH system from the official website: https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in. The direct link is given below.
