In Reliance Telecommunications Annual General Meeting, Mukesh Ambani mentioned about its newly planned FTTH(Fibre To The Home) broadband plan. He said this new technology could deliver broadband with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps. There is a rumor that the testing of Fiber broadband has already been started in Delhi and Mumbai by the company.
The company unveiled that its Basic Plan will be of 600 GB data. The 600 GB Basic plan will be charged Rs 500. There is no need to mention that the FTTH speed will be much better than any other existing broadband service. The speed of this Basic broadband plan will be 15 Mbps. Think of the benefit you are getting, a 600 GB data plan for just Rs. 500. That is 20 GB/day for a monthly broadband plan of Rs. 500. Isn’t it cool? The company also unveils a single day plan of Rs. 400 for day-based users. Guess what you are getting for an individual day plan. That’s one-day unlimited internet usage. They are also planning to introduce two day-based plans of Rs. 500. One with a volume limit and other with a speed limit.
