On the third day of Navratri, the divine mother is prayed in the form of Chandraghanta, this form shows her in the form of half moon with her third eye always open and waging a war against the evil on this earth. 4th day of Navratri the divine mother is prayed in the form of Kushmanda. This form of the goddess is very serene and she is seen as smiling and jovial.
