The first day of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Shailputri. The favourite colour of Maa Shailputri is red. Apart from this, mother Shailputri is very fond of white color to mother Shailputri. This colour symbolizes purity and peace.
Mother Brahmacharini will be worshiped on the second day of Shardiya Navratri i.e. on the 27th of September. It is considered auspicious to use red color on this day.

The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Mother Chandraghanta Devi. He will be worshiped on 28 September. It is auspicious to use the blue color in the worship of Maa Chandraghanta.
