When it comes to Kerala elections for the year 2019, every single party is trying their best. They are busy in conducting rally’s bringing people together and asking for precious votes. Well, we are in that time of the year where Kerala LDF Candidates for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 have been announced.
Out of the 20 seats, 16 candidate seats have been filled by the Communist Party of India Marxist. Also, the other four seats are filled by the Communist Party of India.

1. Thiruvananthapuram – C.Divakaran
C. Divakaran who is the State Executive Member of CPI is representing the Nedumangadu constituency in state legislative assembly. Also, he has done immense work being the past minister of Food and Civil Supplies in the LDF ministry from the year 2006 to 2011.
2. Attingal – A.Sampath
Being the representative of the Attingal constituency, A.Sampath has made tremendous interventions in the Parliament. Since 15 years, he is representing the constituency and is also a member of the general council of Central Indian trade union.
Also, A. Sampath has also represented five private member bills, asked several questions and have taken an active part in 192 debates for 16th Lok Sabha elections.
3. Kollam – K.N Balagopal
K.N Balagopal is the state secretariat member of the Communist Party of India and is the former district secretary of Kollam.
He has served as a member of the Rajya Sabha for the years 2010 to 2016. In his ruling period, he has introduced different private member bills which even included the Indian Penal Code.
4. Mavelikara – Chittayam Gopakumar
As of now, Chittayam is serving as the state council member of Communist Party of India. When he came into limelight in the year 2011, he won with massive 607 votes.
Also, in the year 2016, his voting bank increased to around 25,460 votes which are surely amazing. This shows his power which can show magic for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
5. Alappuzha – A.M. Arif
Being selected for the Kerala legislative assembly in the years 2006, 2011 and 2014, A.M Arif is currently the member of the Alappuzha district Committee.
With such power and control over Alappuzha, he is said to win the 2019 Lok Sabha district level election yet again and come into power, one more time.
6. Kottayam – V.N. Vasavan
Talking about the most prominent faces in the Kerala ruling regime will bring V.N. Vasavan into the limelight. Currently, he serves as the member of the CPI(M) and is also the secretary of Kottayam district.
Also, Vasavan is serving as the CITU general council member along with Rubo directorate board member.
Right from the years 2006-2011, he has represented the Kottayam constituency in the assembly of Kerala.
7. Idukki – Joice George
With the help of High Range Samrakshana Samithi, Joice George came into the limelight. He also served in the forecast of protests leading people from the higher ranges.
Also, he has been practicing law in the High court along with Supreme court for over 16 years. Currently, he is the legal advisor of the High-Range Samrakshana Samithi and is doing the job quite perfectly.
He is also among those rare MP’s who have participated in the most number of debates and have a good win percentage factor too.
8. Ernakulam – P.Rajeev
Being the State secretariat member of the Communist Party of India in Kerala along with Former district committee secretary of Ernakulam, P>Rajeev have gathered plenty of praises.
He was the member of Rajya Sabha and have gathered plenty of applause even for the political opponents. Also, he was the first person who raised the question on the draconian provisions in section 66(A) of the IT Act.
Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief in Deshbhimani and is doing work with full passion and determination.
9. Chalakudy – Innocent
Innocent, who is a famous actor in the Malayalam film industry has entered in the field of politics. Currently, he is supporting the Communist Party of India (M) and is an independent candidate.
Being an MP, he got approval for different projects which a success ratio of 110 percent. Also, he has even carried out different redevelopment works worth Rs.1750 crores in Chalakudy.
In the future, more is expected from the future star to make massive development work for the residents.
10. Pathanamthitta – Veena George
A well-known journalist Veena George who was the first-ever female executive editor in Malayalam News channel is in the politics. This time, it’s the Lok Sabha elections 2019, and she is the Pathanamthitta area committee member along with the MLA of Aranmula legislative constituency.
During the Kerala floods in 2018, she led relief and rescue operations and even funded amounts to the needy.
11. Thrissur – Rajaji Mathew Thomas
Rajaji Mathew Thomas who is currently serving as the state executive council member of CPI is named under Kerala LDF candidates for upcoming 2019 elections. He has also represented the 12th legislative assembly and has done tremendous social works.
12. Alathur – P.K. Biju
The former president of the SFI is elected among the LDF candidates for Kerala Elections 2019. He served as the minister of Alathur between the years 2009 to 2014 and is all set to be back in action.
Talking about P.K Biju’s discipline, his attendance has always been above 70 percent in Parliament which is a good thing. Also, he has taken part in around 326 debates and has asked massive 500+ questions.
Even for the farmers, Biju raised different questions in agricultural sector towards the government and is continuing to do so.
13. Palakkad – M B Rajesh
From the period of years between 2009 to 2014, MB Rajesh is the name among Kerala LDF Candidates for the upcoming 2019 elections.
Over the years, he is well-known for proactive elections and has a greater attendance in parliament assembly.
He is probably the first person who kept the demand for bringing IIT Palakkad in Parliament. Also, he has taken an active part in 196 debates and asked 561 questions in the 16th Lok Sabha Assembly.
14. Ponani – P V Anwar
Coming from a family which had stronger congress support, PV Anwar is also a name among Kerala LDF Candidates list. He stepped into politics is an independent candidate and is doing pretty well in the present date.
Presently, he is working for the Nilambur legislative constituency in the assembly.
Also, Anwar has done tremendous social service work in Ponnani, Malabar and other areas of Kerala. He is also the national chairman of the Western Ghats Protection committee.
15. Malappuram – V P Sanu
Resolving student’s struggles every single time, VP Sanu has been named among the Kerala LDF candidates for 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Over the course of time, he has solved numerous students’ problems and has also fought against the anti-students policies deployed by the government.
16. Kozhikode – A Pradeep Kumar
A Pradeep Kumar is the MLA of Kozhikode and also serves as the member of Kerala State Committee.
He was elected for the Kerala legislative assembly for years 2006 to 2011 and did fine work for the people.
Currently, he is working on modernizing the education sector and raising health awareness in Kerala.
17. Wayanad – P P Suneer
P.P Sunner who is the state executive of the Communist Party of India is a well-known face in Wayanad.
With time, he has represented different states and this time; he is making way towards Wayanad. Also, in the past, he failed to make his way towards Lok Sabha, but this time, his chances are looking quite strong.
18. Vadakara – P Jayarajan
P Jayarajan who is the district level committee secretary of CPI(M) is elected among the Kerala LDF Candidates for 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. He has fought deliberately against the violence of BJP, RSS and is continuing to do the same till date.
Also, he was elected at the Kerala Legislative Assembly for the years 2001 and 2006 and is looking to make a stronger comeback.
19. Kannur – P K Sreemathi
The MP from Kannur, PK Sreemathi is also the Central Committee member of the Communist India Party (M). In the years, 2001 and 2006, she has been elected as the Kerala Legislative assembly member and has even served in health along with social justice sectors.
Also, in passing the women reservation bill, P K Sreemathi has taken an active part and have raised women’s issues in front of the government.
She has taken an active part in 137 debates and has asked a whopping 497 questions in the period of Lok Sabha assembly.
20. Kasargod – K P Satheesh Chandran
Last but not least, K P Satheesh Chandran is the 20th name among the Kerala LDF Candidates List. He is a well-known face in Kerala and is serving as the State Committee member of Communist Party of India (M).
Years back, he was the Kasargod district committee secretary and served for ten years.
