Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that his company Reliance Jio Infocomm, will charge its customers for 4g data usage after March 31, 2017. He also announced the launch of prime membership for existing customers to continue with the existing plan. With prime membership, users will get special benefits compared to non-prime customers.
The prime membership costs Rs.99. The prime membership can be taken using the My Jio app or by contacting the nearest Reliance Jio office. The prime membership can be obtained before April 1. After April 1, prime membership cannot be taken. The prime membership is for one year.
