It was predicted that Avengers Endgame will rewrite the existing collection records any film has ever made and so did it happen. The highly anticipated Disney-Marvels superhero movie has already set new collection records in the US, India and China. In collection records, Avengers Endgame is now the second biggest single-day collection earner in the world after ‘Star Wars the force awakens’.
The Marvel film also made the record of bagging 100 million in the least time. The latest released MCU movie which took 17 hours to bag the first 100 million surpassed the record of movie Stars Wars: The Force Awakens, which took 21 hours to achieve the same.
Avengers Endgame Collection in China
Endgame, where it is played in 608 screens, bagged the biggest first day collection in China by any local or foreign movie. Endgame surpassed the records of Fast and Furious 8 by a margin of double. Fast and Furious had the history of the biggest first day collection by a foreign film in China. It also became the biggest collection earner in China surpassing the domestic film ‘Monster Hunt 2’ records. On the opening day, Endgame earned a whopping 107.2 million.
Avengers Endgame in India Collection
Avengers became the biggest earner from pre-bookings compared to any other movie in India. It smashed the records of multilingual movie bahubali 2 in prebookings. 25 lakhs of tickets were sold prior to the release of the movie through ticketing platform Bookmyshow, which is a first for any movie. In first day collections, it has become the third highest earner in India after bahubali 2 and 2.0. It is to be also noted that endgame bagged its first day collection 510 million from just 1700 screens across India, which is numerically low compared to the screens that bahubali and 2.0 had on their first day.
Avengers Collection Worldwide
The film is being screened in 46 countries across the world. The film has bagged $8.4 million from South Korea, $7 million from Australia and $6 million from France, Italy $5.8 million on the first day.
Avengers Endgame Collection in US
The distributor Walt Disney Company said that from Thursday’s night debut, avenger’s endgame received $60 million from both Canada and USA.
