ZTE has launched recently its premium variant smartphone with 6 GB RAM. The premium variant phone has a Force Touch Display, unlike the standard variant. The device is priced at $499.98. They are now available from the company’s online store. The standard variant price is $399.98.The highlights of new ZTE Axon 7 model are its dual front speakers and cameras, Dolby Atmos Hi-fi audio and the force touch display. While the dual front speakers and cameras are there for basic and standard variants, the force touch display is only there for the premium variant.
The Premium variant has 128 GB internal storage. The device has a metal unibody and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device has a custom company made MiFavor UI on top of OS to improve the accessibility. The ZTE Axon 7 premium variant supports 5.5-inches AMOLED Display with 2.5D curved glass protection. the device is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
The device also has dedicated audio chips having 32 bit DAC to power Hi-Fi audio support. Coming to the camera department, the ZTE Axon 7 has a 20-megapixels rear camera with dual-LED flash with the f/1.8 aperture with OIS, EIS, and PDAF features. The video can be captured in 4K resolution at 30 fps. The slow-motion feature of video capture is available in 720p at 240fps and in 480p at 300fps. The front or selfie camera is of 8-megapixels and has an aperture f/2.2. The memory capacity can be extended upto 256 GB(total storage) with an additional 128 GB micro SD card. The device is powered by a 3250mAh battery and has Quick charge 3.0 support. It also has USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and 4G LTE connectivity options.
