The popular annual award show Vanitha Film Awards is back. Vanitha Film Awards is one of the prestigious awards which honor the excellence in the Malayalam film industry. The 2018 Vanitha Film Awards was held on February 25, 2018 (Sunday) at Greenfield Stadium, Trivandrum. Vanitha Film award was started in the year 1998 and year by year the show got more popularity.
Popular Malayalam Actor Fahadh Faasil has announced the best actor award for the act in the movie “Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum”. The Malayalam female stars Manju Warrier and Parvathy have won the best actress awards. Manju Warrier has awarded for the performance in the movie “Udaharanam Sujatha” and Parvathy for “Take Off”. The best director award of the Vanitha Film Awards 2018 was won by Dileesh Pothen.
It was a star-studded event and various stars like Kunchacko Boban, Rima Kallingal, Isha Talwar, Deepthi Sathi have performed some colorful dance performances. One of the special moments of the event was the performance by the Shruti Haasan and Dulquer Salmaan and which has already started trending on the Internet. The 2018 Vanitha Film Awards will telecast on the Mazhavil Manorama channel on March 24 at 6.00 PM, March 25 at 5.30 PM, April 7 at 5.00 PM and April 8 at 4.30 PM.
