The 49th Kerala State Film Awards was announced on 27th February 2019. The best actor of this year’s awards are Jayasurya (Captain and Njan Marykutty) and Soubin Shahir (Sudani from Nigeria). The winner of the best actress award is Nimisha Sajayan (Chola and Oru Kuprasidha Payyan). The best character actor of this year is Joju George for the movies Chola and Joseph. The Cultural Affairs Minister A. K. Balan has announced the winners at 12.00 PM on Wednesday. Everyone was eagerly waiting to see the winners of this year’s awards.
