Vijay TV is launching a new fantasy serial from December 12, 2016, onwards. The name of the serial is Neeli. Neeli is centered around a toy doll, whose name is Neeli. The show will be aired every Monday through Friday starting from December 12. The time of airing will be 8 PM. The TV show is the Tamil remake of the Kannada serial ‘Neeli.’

About Neeli
Serial ‘Neeli’ is by genre a supernatural fiction. Neeli is a doll toy which is possessed by a dead mother’s spirit. The central character of the show is Aby, the girl who is also the mate of the doll Neeli. Neeli is the best friend, Aby has, and it is Neeli who saves Aby from all the dangers she has to face. The character Surya is the father of Aby. He is a businessman who lost his wife. He is the one who looks after Savi. Being lost his wife, the character Surya has to marry Rekha upon his family members’ request. Rekha is an evil character who intentionally marries Surya seeing his wealth. Aby is one hurdle she has to overcome in getting her husband’s wealth fully. So she always tries to endanger Abi. Rekha has her brother and sister by her side to endanger Aby. She with her sibling tries all the wicked ways to end Aby’s life, whereas the possessed spirit always try to save Aby from Rekha.

Naveen plays the character Surya in the serial. The role of Aby is played by Baby Chavi Sharma. The child artist has already acted in some favorite Tamil films. She is also the main character in an upcoming Tamil movie named ‘Powerpondy.’ The role of Rekha is acted by artist Kavitha. Kavitha is a popular TV actress who has already acted in many Tamil and Kannada serials.
The director of the serial is C Jerrold. C Jerrold is a director who is popular among the TV audience by his previous serials like Madura, Kallikkaattu Pallikoodam, En Peyar Meenatchi and Rettai Vaal Kuruvi.
