StarPlus is to broadcast Sanjeevani 2 from 2019 August onwards. Sanjivani 2 is the reboot version of “Sanjivani: A Medical Boon”, an Indian Hindi medical drama television serial broadcasted by StarPlus. The first season of sanjeevani was aired during 2002-2005. The series Sanjivani discusses the story of four interns- Dr. Juhi Singh, Dr. Rahul Mehra, Dr. Simran Chopra and Dr. Omi Joshi, the daily challenges they encounter in the hospital being medical professionals and about their personal life.
In the third installment that is to air on StarPlus from August 2019, Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna will be starring in the lead roles. The show will replace the currently running Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji from the 7:30 PM slot. The serial has telecasted 157 episodes yet in two seasons. The show had a second season named “Dill Mill Gaye” broadcasted by Star One in 2007. The second installment of the show ‘Dill Mill Gaye’ had Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget and Mohnish Bahl in the lead roles. The show ‘Dill Mill Gaye’ had many good songs in it including the title track sung by Sonu Nigam.
