The favorite singing reality show of Colors TV, Rising Star has reached the grand finale. The grand finale of the Rising star was aired in Colors TV channel as two separate episodes on 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday) at 9.00 PM. Rising Star is based on the favorite reality show HaKokhav HaBa. This is the first season of the Rising star and was started with a grand premiere on February 4th, 2017. The show has become one of the top-rated shows in this first season itself. The audience has a chance of supporting their favorite contestants by online voting. People can cast their votes through the Colors TV Mobile App.
The contestants to the Rising Star were selected by conducting auditions. After a three-month musical journey, top 4 contestants have reached the grand finale of Rising Star. Bannet Dosanjh, Maithili Thakur, Vikramjeet Singh, and Ankita Kundu are the four finalists of Rising Star 2017. Diljit Dosanjh, Monali Thakur, and Shankar Mahadevan are the three judges of Rising Star reality show. The contestants of the show were lead by these judges. Ankita Kundu and Vikramjeet Singh are in the team Diljit Dosanjh, Maithili Thakur in the team lead by Shankar Mahdevan and Bannet Dosanjh in the team Monali Thakur.
