The grand trailer and audio launch event of the upcoming movie Ponniyin Selvan: I took place on 6th September 2022. The event was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chenna. The legends of the Tamil movie industry Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Director Shankar were present at the event. It was a star-studded event as all the stars of the movie attended the event. The trailer of Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi starrer South film Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 has been released. The film tells the story of the ‘greatest’ empire in the history of India, the Chola Empire. Actors Vikram, Karti, and Aishwarya Rai have proved to be bang in every scene in this film. The makers as well as the fans have high hopes for this big budget film of Mani Ratnam. Interestingly, Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have come together once again through this film.
Ponniyin Selvan
Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan Part 1’ is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s famous novel which tells the story of Raja Chozhan. The trailer begins with a beautiful sight of the comet. The characters are introduced one after the other in the trailer. South superstar Chiyan Vikram is seen playing the role of Aditya Karikalan in the film. Karti plays the character of Vandhiyathevan.
It is shown in the trailer that Chiyan Vikram and Karti belong to the royal family who are sent on a secret mission and on this mission both of them meet the queens of other kingdoms including Trisha Krishnan and Aishwarya Rai. Trisha Krishnan plays the character of Kundavai in the film and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is seen playing the role of Rani Nandini. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The film will be released on 30. September 2022. The trailer and audio launch event of the film will telecast soon.
