Cheslie Kryst is the winner of pageant title Miss USA 2019. She won Miss USA 2019 title at the age of 28, after winning the title Miss North Carolina USA 2019. Cheslie Kryst crowned as the 68th Miss USA 2019 on May 2019 at the Grand Sierra hotel-casino in Reno, Nevada. The former winner of Nebraska, Sarah Rose Summers crowned her.
Kryst is a civil litigation attorney who works in a law firm in North Carolina (Poyner Spruill according to Charlotte Observer) who also does pro bono work by representing prison inmates for free to reduce their sentences. It is to be also noted Kryst became the Miss USA at the age of 28, which is the oldest age ever for a woman to become the Miss USA title winner. it was in her high school she won her first title.

In her high school year, she won her first title Miss Freshman. Carolina attended North-western High school which is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
She earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina. After completing law, she earned her Juris Doctor degree and MBA from Wake Forest University
Besides her career as an attorney, she is an owner-cum-author of the blog White Collar Glam, a fashion blog by genre which essentially gives advice on choosing outfits and wearing them to match occasions and places.
Kryst has competed two times each for the Miss North Carolina title and Miss North Carolina USA title while being at law school. It is last year but she claimed the first place and made it to the national pageant.
In the final round, she said she is glad the competition happened to be in Nevada because it’s the only state that has a female majority in both state assembly and state senate.
The inspiration to compete in pageants Cheslie got from her mother April Simpkins, who used to compete in pageants. April won the Ms. Petite North Carolina title in 1997 and the Miss North Carolina US in 2012, when Cheslie was a child.
