The talent search for the Indian Idol show has been started. Indian idol team is back for its season 7 plays after the six successful show seasons. The registration has begun on September 10. 2016 and is open till Nov 30, 2016. The audition programmes are occurring in various cities across the country starting with city Bhubaneswar.
The first audition on Bhubaneswar is on 6th October 2016 on Thursday. The venue is the Kalinga Institute of Social science. The age limit to apply for the audition is 16-30 the candidate should have completed 16 years of age or below age 30 as on date September 10, 2016.

Registration for Audition
The candidates who wish to appear for the audition should log on to the web address “www.sonyliv.com/IndianIdol” and submit their details. The details needed are
1. Full Name
2. Date of Birth
3. E-mail id
4. Gender
5. Mobile No
6. State
7. City
A video of the candidate singing in less than size 40MB in either of the formats (Mp4/3gp/mov/wmv/avi)
As soon as the candidate submit these details, an email will be sent to candidates mail address informing whether registration is approved or rejected.
Conditions for Successful registration
The candidate’s age should be between 16 and 30 as on date 10th September 2016
The candidate should be citizens of India with a valid nationality proof (Passport/Pan card/Aadhar card)
The candidate should have a sound mind and health and should not have any criminal record.
Audition video should be a video recorded within the past two months from the audition date.
The audition video should not be edited/digitally enhanced.
The audition video may have an instrument/track playing during the candidates singing, but no humming is allowed.
The audition video must have candidate only, and no other members should be appearing in the video.
Expected Judges for Audition Programmes
Till now no formal announcement has been made regarding the judges of the show. However, the judges are likely to be Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Anu Malik, and Salim Merchant
