The 23rd annual Star Screen Awards took place on 4th December 2016 (Sunday) in Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan has been awarded the best actor award for the movie Pink, and Alia Bhatt grabbed the best actress award for the movie Udta Punjab. Just like every year, the 23rd Star Screen Awards was a star-studded event.
One of the main attractions of the award night was the combined appearance of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as the hosts. Karan Johar and Karan Singh Grover hosted the first portion of the event.
