Choti Sarrdaarni is the Indian television serial in Hindi telecasted through the Colors TV channel. Serial director Rajesh Ram Singh is the producer of this Colors TV show. Rajesh Ram Singh is the director of serials Kesari Nandan, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Chandrashekhar. The male and female leads are played respectively by Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi.
Its the debut show for Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia, the beauty queen who is the winner of the pageant title ‘Femina Miss India Manipur’ in 2018 and also the winner of ‘The Tiara Queen’ [February 2018]. The show was premiered on July 1, 2019. The show is aired on all weekdays through Colors TV and starts from 7:30 PM onwards.

Controversies erupted after the release of the first promo. The first promo of the serial faced protest from Sikh community organizations saying it hurts the religious sentiments of the Sikhs. All India Sikh Students Federation president has written to Colors TV expressing the protest against the first promo. Stanam Singh also said in his letter urging the channel to take action if not federation has to move on with a campaign against.
