Asus launched its new Zenfone 3 max on Nov 9, 2016. The highlighted features of the new device are its 4100mAh battery and a slimmer size. The new Asus Zenfone 3 Max has a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The 4100 mAh battery of the device is a non-removable type. The higher mAh of the battery has its advantage of more extended working hours, but it also takes a little longer time to get it fully charged (a few minutes longer and not hours). The new Zenfone 3 max also allows reverse charging. So don’t worry if your other gadgets are running out of juice. Just plug in the device to your Asus Zenfone 3 and charge them.
Despite the bigger battery, Asus also tried to keep its thickness reduced than its predecessor models. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with a 3GB RAM. Like any other brand new phones, Asus Zenfone 3 max to have fingerprint scanner which makes it easy to unlock or launch apps by a finger touch. Asus Zenfone 3 runs on the Android Marshmallow platform. Speaking of cameras, the Asus Zenfone 3 max has an f/2.0 16-megapixels rear camera and an f/2.0 8-megapixels front camera. The rear camera has phase detection auto-focus, OIS(optical Image stabilization) and dual-tone dual LED flash features.
The inbuilt memory capacity is 32 GB and can be extended up to 256GB with a microSD card. One not so cool thing about Zenfone 3 Max is that the device comes two 4G Sim slots, only one will be available if you are putting in a microSD card. There is no dedicated microSD slot, so the only place you can insert a microSD is in one of the Sim slots. The zenfone3 Max is available in colors Titanium Gray, Sand Gold, Glacier Silver, and Rose Gold.
