OK Jaanu is Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sraddha Kapoor starrer Bollywood romantic drama movie. Shaad Ali Sahal directs the movie. The movie is the official Hindi version of Tamil movie OK Kanmani, which is written, directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film released today (13th January 2017) worldwide and here are the first day, second day and third-day collection reports of the movie.

OK Jaanu is the second movie of Aditya Roy and Shraddha after Ashiqui 2, in which they acted together. If Aditya Roy and Shraddha Kapoor handled the lead roles in OK Jaanu, the film OK Kanmani had Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The Tamil version was well received by the critics, both in the making and its performances.
The film tells the story of two highly ambitious individuals who decide to live together for a while and ultimately falls in love. Adi, is a video game developer who aspires to settle in the US and follow the American dream. Tara, the character played by Shraddha is an architect who dreams of flying to London, for her higher education. The story leads as both meet at a friend’s wedding event and falls for each other.
They decided to live together for a while, and then move on with their separate ways in pursuit of their career. How they end up with their relationship, is what makes the movie.
Aashiqui 2 was the debut movie of Shraddha Kapoor. It was a massive success in the box office. Later she acted in movies Ek Villain, Baaghi, Rock On two etc. Adithya Roy Kapoor acted in a few movies before Aashiqui 2. It was in Aashiqui 2; he had his debut lead rule. He later acted in some movies which were not so famous like Aashiqui 2.
This Ok Jaanu can also be a game changer for Adithya Roy Kapoor. Like Ok Kanmani, the music of movie OK Jaanu too is composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman. The full soundtrack of OK Jaanu was released on January 4, 2017.
