Huawei launched its new smartphone Huawei mate nine on November 3, 2016, at an event in Munich. The new Huawei comes with a 5.9-inch touch screen display of 5.9 inches which has a full-HD resolution. The device has a 1.8 GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor along with a 4 GB RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 64 GB and is extendable up to 256 GB via a micro SD card.
Getting to the cameras of Mate 9, Huawei says they have the second generation Leica dual-lens camera. The rear camera is of 20 megapixels, and the front camera is of 8-megapixels. The aperture of the rear camera is f/2.2 whereas the front camera has an aperture of f/1.9. The featured traits of the camera are Optical Image stabilization, Hybrid zoom, dual-tone dual-LED flash, and an Autofocus system. The Hybrid zoom allows us to zoom without loss of a significant amount of quality. The device is capable of 4K video recording, which is a first, for a Huawei flagship.
The rear-mounted fingerprint scanner with gesture support is another main feature of the device. The Huawei Mate 9 runs Android 7.0 Nougat. The device sports a non-removable 4000mAh battery with Supercharge technology. The smartphone weighs 190 grams and has a dimension of 156.9×78.9×7.9mm. The Huawei Mate 9 will be available in color variants Black, Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown, and Ceramic White.
